Areski managed to escape and Lino takes it personally. He decides to keep watch day and night outside the house where the corrupt cop’s wife and son still live. Julia, who took over as head of the squad after Charas’s death, convinces Lino to join her unit so that she can get her hands on Areski as a cop.
Almost a year later, Areski’s accomplice, Marco, negotiates his release from prison in exchange for information to help arresting the former cop and the entire drug-trafficking network based in Spain. But he is also the killer of Lino’s younger brother, so Lino loses it when he learns that Marco is about to get away with it, whatever information he might have.
Lino decides to kidnap Marco and hand him over to the Spanish authorities, who are determined to lock up all those involved in drug trafficking for good. Julia cannot tolerate Lino behaving like an outlaw once again and sets off chasing him, determined to reason and stop him before he does anything irreparable.
